Default I need some electrical help

hey guys, i am getting some amber warning lights for my truck and i was wondering if i can put 4 lights on cigarette plug adapters? if not what else could i do besides run wiring from my battery

Need to know the watt draw of the lamps to get a better idea.

0.3 watts is pretty small. Even at 0.3 amps, only talking about 1.2 amps total draw. I would think the cig lighter pulls a bit more than that.

Just ballparking - anything less than 5 amps (about 60 watts) I wouldn't worry about. Anything less than 10 amps (about 120 watts), I would give it a try but watch closely. Anything close to or over 10 amps continuous would be worth considering an auxiliary power feed.
