Default I need HELP!

I need a Ford enthusiast's help!! I'm kind of a girly-girl, but I like my vehicles to look nice, my ex used to do all of the modifications to our cars/pickups....but now I'm single and I have no idea what I'm doing!!

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 XLT that is pretty much stock everything except for the 17" rims, headlights, tail lights and grille that I bought this last winter. I'm wanting suggestions of what I should have done to it.

For instance---TIRES?? Currently I have 265-70-17 (I have no idea what any of this means) on it...would like to go with something a little more "bad ***"...what I mean is looks bigger, but will still go on my 17" rims. Any suggestions.

I thought about a leveling kit, but will that be okay on a 4WD?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

You can level it if you want or may need to depending on what tires you choose. The numbers on the tire (in English lol) are in order as they appear...tire width (265), side wall (70) and rim diameter they fit (17) (hole in the middle of the tire). There is likely an LT or P on the tire . This gives you LT or P 265/70R17

To go bigger with the same wheel you change the first 2 numbers to a higher number.
I'm guessing your looking for something like the nitto terra grappler in maybe a 305/70R17. Or a 33" tire but you may need to be leveled. I cant confirm fitment for these so hopefully someone that has done it chimes in to help you out. If you want good mod advice pictures of your truck help a lot

In a little clearer English the 265 is the width of the tread in millimeters, and the 70 means the side wall is 70 percent of the tire width. You can level the truck by having the torsion bars cranked up. Just don't crank it past 24 1/4" measuring from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender well.

Sorry dallas150 no disrespect.
