i need a 9.75 rear end
My rear end in going out on my 97 f150 4x4. I really want to find one with disk brakes on it. I need one with 3.55 gears...anyone got one or know of anyone with one?

Why not go down to the 8.25? That's what I did. I still have the 9.75 axle at my in laws but they thought it was good it store it outside. The story goes, my pinion seal was going out on the 9.75 axle, so I changed it out. When I put it back together, I over torqued the pinion and messed up the pinion bearings. I took my truck to a rear end shop and they told me it would be $1200 to fix it. One of my buddies swore he could fix it for just the price of the parts, so I listened. After a week of ****ing with it, I said f**k it and went to a Pick and Pull and grabbed a rear end out of a 97 F-150. I planned on putting the 9.75 rear end back on so I had the rear end shop put it back together but not put it on the truck. I even bought new axle shafts for it, but I haven't had the time to put it back on, and at this point, I don't think I'm gonna. This axle is just sitting there not being used. The problem is that the diff cover and bolts, and the gear pin was thrown away be accident. If your interested, I would sell it. Let me know.
