well my truck has been getting drove allot and it started ticking so i thought maybe its a lifter im almost ready for a oil change.. i changed it 500 miles ago and the noise came back today.. its running the same as always is it just a lifter thats shot or is it somthing bigger??

 

Manifold.. From my knowledge

 

yeah i was gonna say check your manifold might be cracked

 

Its problem the lash adjuster. Especially if it went away when you did a oil change and then it came back.
