I thought I answered that. Perhaps too much detail. I'll try to condense it.

In most newer vehicles, AC works at a Stop.
But AC systems are powered by compressing the gas. At idle, at a Stop, the pump is running very slowly.

So if your system needs a lil freon, it may be cool, not cold, or even slightly warm. This is the most common reason. It's the first thing to check, IMHO.

A refill canister with its own gauge can be had for 30-45$. More is less! Be patient and follow the directions *EXACTLY.* For an F150 and to have some left over for other cars, I get the big can.

I felt the same when I was new here. Be patient with us, being patient with you. 😉
