Default Hubcaps

I habe these wheels and i think that they are ugly, especially the hubcaps. Are there aftermarket hubcaps you can buy to replace these that still fit the wheel and bolt pattern. I wish i could replace the wheels but its not in my budget right now. Thanks

There are 2 other caps that fit these wheels, but they are very similar, so I doubt it would make you happy. Maybe plastic-dipping the wheels or caps might be an option.

I have a set of those myself, and took them off and put on one truck Expy/KR ranch wheels (they use a very similar cap or KR cap) only to remove them and put on FX4 wheels. I definitely like the FX4 wheels the best and the Crescents near the bottom in the 17 inch wheels. The 97-98 17's, non Crescent, 6 spokes are the worst IMO.

I don't think they're that bad really, I've seen worse as far as factory rims and caps.

I agree about the FX4 rims, like the KR style, but I like the rims you posted you posted well enough as well..a clean set anyway.

But yea, if I disliked the caps and rims AFA factory sets, I'd look to KR or FX4's. SOME aftermarket rims look okay too, not a fan of most, but there are a few nice looking sets out there for these trucks.

There might be threads on rims or image search for gen 10 rims.

I actually switched *to* those wheels when I bent the steel/chome Lariats, and think they look good, but to each his own.

As stated, the other caps that fit these wheels look very similar. New wheels is the only way you'll get a significant change in appearance.

Keep an eye out on Craigslist. You might get lucky.

EDIT: If you want to look for different factory wheels, here is a cross-reference of what fits:

I looooove those wheels! I have an 01 xlt with the chrome steels. They're nice, gives it a truck look.. But those alloys are my favorite. Just my $.02
