Default how many Valves?

Does anyone know how many Valves the 1998 F-150 4x4 4.6L V8 has?
Cause A buddy has the same truck but 2006, and he did a intake mod (PCV pipe goin into the fender, just a bigger inner diameter for more take off power) And he said that the 2 Valves run leaner then the 3 valves if you do this mod whichwas bad, and i was wanteing to do it but dont know the number of valves. So If any one knows speak up! haha or if you have the link to some where where I could find out more about this mod, pass it on to me please...
Thanks

98 4.6 is a 2 valve per cylinder motor. Go with the Gotts mod, that or a good CAI.

Just checked, and your friends 06 is also a 2valve 4.6. They did changes to intakes and the way the ignition was used, otherwise, much the same from 98 to 06.
