I couldn't tell you.. I've only had it for about 4 months or 4,000 miles. It seemed to be taken care of.. Maybe I was wrong.

Dang that sucks but u may make it quite a while with a rod knock we had an 01 5.4 that had a rod knock we bought it with 134 with it no clue how long before that it devolved but the engine lasted until 173 before the crank broke in 2

I thought it was the 5.4's that have plug issues, not the 4.6s?

Both, so unless you have a v6, watch out! But I think it is more common in the 5.4s

Most of the plugs blowing out is caused by over tighting the plugs

My 4.6 blew an original Ford-installed plug. I found out when I went to change the plugs and found a heli-coil in #3.
