im pretty **** about keeping track of what I do and It helps resale (Though Im keeping this thing) and just wondering who all keeps a maintenance record and how you do it? Spreadsheet, receipts? heres my spreadsheet, I track oil change mileage with what oil and filter, then any repairs or replaces with brand, and mileage, broken down between 100k-125k, 125k-150k, 150k-200k, black has been done, red needs to be done at certain mileage points

Haha thanks, I use my computer all the time so its easier to have it in a spreadsheet. I did the same thing with my old car along with pdfs of all mechanics papers. That alone probably got me a few hundred bucks more out of it than it would have without

I have a manila folder file for each vehicle in a hanging folder in a file/safe. Service or product purchased is stored in the appropriate vehicle file. Titles, registrations, original contracts, etc., are stored in separate folder

I use a spreadsheet, one sheet for my truck & MC, one for the wife's car, one for notes -rims wheels I am looking at right now, one documents fuses & bulbs in my truck, last sheet lists cars/MC I have owned

Not as elaborate as yours, Date, Description of what was done, mileage, cost

I just go off receipts lol, I like to try and keep the truck in good working condition, but I'm not to the point where I put new oil in at 3k miles on the dot. Thanks to this lovely oil leak I don't have to worry about when to change my oil, just the filter.
