trying to replace my pitman arm and the puller wont fit on do i remove the steering box of what any help thanks!

 

remove stearing box and turn till you can get at it. i believe only 3 bolts to remove. did mine 3 months ago and thats the only way i could get at it. prob gonna need a 2 prong puller and not the one piece slip over type. and a impact! hope this helps

 

You can use a normal pitman arm puller. You have to unbolt the box. You will be able to get to it easily once it is off.

 

thanks so much figured that got my puller gunna do it monday if weather is good and then on to tie rod ends
