I recently replaced my headlights and realized my lights are aimed way low and light only travels about 15 ft like fog lights. Do I tighten or loosen I've never adjusted before so I really know nothing about it please help

The one by the grille is for left to right. The top one is for up and down. The make a special tool so you dont have to keep pulling them out.

the adjuster at the top adjusts height, the one on the inside (toward the center of the vehicle) is for left/right adjustment. You really don't adjust the bottom outside one.

Having a headlight adjustment tool makes life much easer. Having a headlight adjustment tool makes life much easer.

I never can remember which way does what, so I just start adjusting and if it goes the wrong way, go the other.
I think a parts store may do it for free (like the batter or wiper installs)?
