Adaptive programming is not just for the transmission. It also store values for the engine also. If you doable it your fuel mileage will go to hell. Also there is programming in the trans for torque xontrol. It controls how the converter multiplys torque.

Thanks for the information everyone. That makes sense, Carcrazygts2. I guess I will have to look into purchasing a tuner then like a sct sf3 or something. If anyone knows where I can buy a used one that isn't $350...

Also I am going to test out the battery disconnect method again today and see if it fixed the shifting.

I think it makes it hard for the pcm to learn my driving habits because I literally have to drive up and down a mountain with windy roads every day to get to my house which I guess would cause RPM's to go up and down crazily and make the learning process harder?

Order one from Franchi. I ordered mine from him and I love it. Here is the link to the group buy on our forum.

I'm not too familiar with a group buy. Does this mean there's a discount for a bulk order?

Yes. Vendors on the forum do a group buy, so they get a bunch of people to buy and they give you a discount on it. Just send Franchi a PM or post on the thread. He may even have some used ones still available.
