Default How deep can these trucks go?

Was driving around in sandy's aftermath and say some flooding witch got me thinking. How deep can these trucks go? anyone have any expediences with driving through high water?

You CAN go up almost to the fender flare, since it draws air from the top of the fender unless you have a cai. BUT I wouldn't go deeper than the rockers or else your floorboards get kinda wet

I've been in hood deep for about 4-5 seconds and had no problems from it, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it lol

I've been in water just about to the top of my fender arches more than once. does fine just dont stop

I Under anticipated a mud puddle with my buddies and was in hood deep for about 20 seconds powering through an nothing happened, I just had to spend a good 2 hours cleaning the mud off if everything like they said just don't stop

Well i dont have pics but I was water up almost to dash and water was above the driver side window about an inch. I was stuck pretty bad I was only on it for a minute tho. The cab was slowly filling up and all I could think about with the passenger side kick panel going under.... :/ but it never did! I had a cold air intake so that helped with not getting water but needless to say I pulled all interior out the next day and pressure washed everything.... I no longer have that truck tho. It was a 2001 ford f150
