Default How to crank t Bars?

Hey everyone..this weekend Im planning on doing some fun stuff to the truck! Sunday morning, Im getting my dads old 32x11.5x16 procomp xterra tires on the truck, doing the gotts mod and the silencer mod (removal) and Id like to crank the tbars to give it that meaner look. Im sure there are a million tutorials out there on how to crank the bars, but i cant find them. I know its not hard and only to crank them level, but i dont know how to go about it. Please if someone can post a link to a thread that gives step by step on how to do it it would be fantastic!!!

Thanks in advance

Jack it up from the frame to get some weight off and it'll be easier to crank them. Then just get your ratchet and turn each side equal number of turns.

Just follow the torsion bars back from the knuckle and you'll see the crossmember with 2 bolts sticking down.

Sorry for the hijack but i have a couple questions my tbars are allready cranked and i obliterated my cv boots what is the MAX height from center point of wheel and fender lip or any other way of measuring at ride height?? i have heard its something like 24 or 25 i want to drop my front down a little and put new boots on and call it good i am hoping to drop it 1/4-1/2 inch depending on the max safe height
also how much do you guys pay for your alignments? some shops charge more for 35"+ tires or some wont even touch them at all..

thanks in advance!
