Exclamation Holes in tailgate

So i decided to clean up the back of my truck. I ordered a roll pan to replace the bumper. I also removed the "f150" from the bottom left side of my tailgate, only problem is there are 3 holes now left in my tailgate from where the badge was. I'm not looking to put anything else there just to fill the holes but do not know how to go about it. Any ideas would be great.

Yeah, Ford makes a F150 emblem or badge, if you are lucky the hole patter will be the same and there you go. Fixed! What a Putts.
Anyway welcome to the fun Rookie.

Depends on your level of detailedness. You could fill it with bondo and then sand it down and paint it but that's a fairly detailed / expensive job for a couple of small holes. Personally, I'd just get a new badge and stick it on. Lot's of custom one's you can get around.....

Sogwap's idea is the only thing i can thing of too. But I don't understand why anyone would want to take the badge off their Built Ford Tough Truck!

The main reason is to clean it up. I'm not taking the ford emblem off just the f150 bc it looks out of place. I may have to use filler, fill the holes then do all that fun stuff then paint it. I'm just trying to avoid all of that and get an easy fix

There is no such thing as easy body work, but I would not use bondo to fill any holes. If you have to fill a hole, then either use a rivet and grind it or weld over it. You will need to use bondo after this to finish the job, but bondo by itself will not fill a hole for long.

I like the weld over it idea. I don't think a rivet will work you would have to leave a bump or the rivet would pop out. With welding you will have a new surface to work with.
