I think he had to have been slowed down from 55 when he hit, because my dad hit one in my truck at around 30 or 35 and it did essentially that, but when he hit one at 60 in his Superduty it destroyed the bumper, busted the grille, and broke the marker light. And that's a more sturdy front end than ours so I think 55 on one of ours would annihilate it.

He said he came around the corner and didn't have much time at all to slow down,he didn't slam on brakes or anything. The truck is still messed up,I might get a picture of it. It's been like that for a few years.
