And you still have stock headlights?

what does that matter?

Why can't anyone just answer a simple question? Is there an easy way to keep the highs and lows on at the same time, or not? If there isn't then I'll figure it out myself when I get a chance.

If I wanted to know what your opinion is on the way I build my truck I would have asked. I am sorry to get to this, but the point of this thread and forum is to seek advice and help. I already know all about glare, but I am building slowly, and for now, I just want everything to stay on when I flip the highs.

When I have an opportunity to answer questions for someone I try my best not to throw an opinion in there, and if I do, I mention that it's just an opinion.

Now, having projectors in stock housings would be a problem because why? the lens will defuse the light a little? the cut off wont be as sharp? I am using the stock housings as practice before I ruin a pair of lights I am planning on purchasing....

And for my original problem, since I haven't been able to find a relay, (if one even exists) I am planning on running a wire from my high beams, into a relay that will power the lows. But I will also have a switching relay that will only power the lows, when the lows should be on. That way the lows don't flash when I do flash to pass. Would this work?

Yeah they just don't work right in stock housings. That's not an opinion it's a fact. The fluted lenses will diffuse the light and your pattern will be messed up.
The opinion I have would be its a waste of money and you should have just ordered the LED bulbs like I previously mentioned, and you wouldn't even need to hack up your headlight wiring to have on your high beams and light bar. No need to get offended, I'm just trying to offer advice based off prior experience and research, and save you some time and money by doing it right the first time. IBD knows how to connect the highs and lows, maybe he'll chime in.

I am not offended, I am simply annoyed. While I appreciate the input of alternate solutions, and I really do, I just want an answer for my original problem...

However nice those LED's do look, I already have the HID's and I have planned on doing a projector retrofit before I even started this thread.

Those are the housings I am planning on purchasing once I figure out the projector retrofit.

But I might just get those LED lights you mentioned if none of this works out....

Also, How do those LED lights have highs and lows on together? When you flip the highs on the low side looses it's power

Are these going to be the same? IF I were to buy these I don't want to buy them from over seas, so I am trying to get them from US suppliers...

They actually don't, they have their own driver box, so when it's on low beams one LED lights up, then when you turn on the high beams it kicks on the other LED, so on highs they're all the way on.

Also not you've got a 9007 not 9006 bulb. Don't want to order the wrong ones when you go that route lol also those black lightning lights you've got picked out are a good choice.

Yeah, I ordered the same headlights except I had to order a set with non-matching corner lights from a different seller because the ones he linked wanted $58 shipping. It was actually cheaper to buy the ones with different corner lights and then go and buy the matching corner separately because both advertised free shipping.

Anyways, that's probably my favorite set for these trucks. The projectors on eBay look cheap, cheaper than I'd want to gamble with. Also, went ahead and ordered the LED bulbs as well. Tired of being "that guy with HIDs" lol
