Default High mount brake light problem

Hey, I'm new to this website, but I am hoping to get some information because I'm new to the automotive world. I have a 2003 f150 king ranch, and recently my 3rd brake light went out. I bought an Anzo light from Autozone online, because I am stationed overseas and they don't sell f150 parts in Germany. Anyways, Autozone said the part would fit my truck, but after looking at it, it's actually for '04 and up. My question is are there any ways I could still make this part fit? I'm up for vehicle inspection and can't afford the time to send it back. I want to ask some more experienced people before I started cutting wires.

The light that's on right now is from the previous owner. The whites are bulb, but the red is LED- which is the part that doesn't work. The light doesn't have a brand name or part number on it, so that's why I ordered a new assembly. But this new light has everything connected to a single plug, rather than my current of three. I looked for a connection, but I believe it's under the headliner.

Could you put a stock light back in place?
