Question HID's NOT WORKING?

I just installed some HID light on my girlfriends fathers 2000 f150 hooked them up correctly (quick connects) the HID's work when hooked up to a 12v battery but when connected to the truck only the halogen high beam works if any one can help me out that would be great thanks.

Sounds like your OEM wiring isn't up to the task, may have to install a relay and new pigtails to get them working, some HID kits pull a very heavy load on the system to warm up the ballasts and to ignite the bulbs initially.

i had the same problem with mine... switch around the clips in the plugin on the hid's (lil clips) and that should solve the problem , u will need a small flat screwdriver... mine were reversed. just check with a test light first and see where the power is comming out of the main harness plug on your truck
