Although this pic was taken in the daylight so it kinda hinders the light intensity, you can still see the HIDs

Theyre Bi-xenon 8k in the Lightning lights and regular 8k in Depo fogs. Wish i had went with the 6K instead. The 8ks just seem to overpower them selves and not actually give good output. I could see further out with my standard Sylvania xze or whatevers halogen bulbs..

I had 10ks in my Tahoe and couldnt see diddlysquat in rural areas. So i just kep hids for low beams and silverstars for high.

I got mine from ddmtuning.com and iirc they were $145ish for the bixenon kit and the fog kit.

I went from 6k to 9k and the light output sucks compared to the 6k I will soon be ordering replacement bulbs in 6k for all my lights. I like the 9k for deeper blue color tho lol

Yeah after having the 10k i figured the 8k had to be better, plus i wanted a little more blue then the 6k.. so 8k seemed ideal. Now i may be switching to 6ks.

Yea no problem, they are in transit right now. Currently in NYC so it will be a few days.

4500-5000k has the brightest output. I wouldn't go anything lower than 5000k tho, cause then it may have a yellowish(stock)color. 5000k is pure white, I went from halogens to 10,000k 35w. The HIDs were deft brighter(most people aim them wrong, thus thinking bad output.)

But I want them to still be brighter, so the kit I ordered is 55w which in itself is 40% brighter, then I went from 10,000k to 6000k, so it should be pretty noticeable. But because they are 55w the 6000k will look like 5000k, it just washes out more color. I'll post a pic for sure and let you know what I think.

So if you want to go bright I say 6/5000k 35w(6=slight blue hue/5=pure white). Or if you want max I'd get the 55w 6000k.

Well I finally got them. Came to my door on Wednesday.
They are brighter in person, and more white. They look a bit blue cause I am right up on them in the picture because the camera won't focus on the light from few feet away because of how bright they are(btw these were only taken on my phone).

So in person your father away and they are pretty much Pure White. So much better than my old 35w 10,000k.
