Default HID Light wiring question

OK, so my projector headlights are basically crap now (oxidized lenses, LEDs not working, etc.) and i'm going to be putting on some new headlights.

For the current headlights I cut out and tossed the wiring that had the bulb (headlight and turn) parts that "twisted" into the back of the lamp assembly. The new headlights I want need this part back.

Here's the question:
Does an HID kit come with this "twist in" bulb/wiring? AKA-Does the HID kit mount to "regular headlight assembly" just like the regular bulbs did?

Much appreciated!

as far as i know, the kit should come with everything you need to installed the kit on a stock set up. the kit will need to plug into the factory wire harness so if you cut off the connector that originally pluggged into the bulb then you will need that socket back. other than that it should plug right into the new head lights that you get. but this is just a guess obivously not being able to look at it. hope it helped

Yes it did! I was debating whether or not I would need that socket (only $11 or so but if I don't need it I wasn't going to buy it). The previous headlights I just wired straight in. I was wondering if the HIDs did that as well, I wasn't sure if they plugged into that socket.

Thank you very much!

HIDS are plug and play and are twist in. There designed to work the same as a normal replacement bulb. Kit should have everything needed and just plug the like connectors together.. Like said above if you cut the stock harnesses you probably need those back unless you wanna try somehow to wire it

My kit came with the bulbs, ballast, an the wiring relays you need, everything you need to upgrade. From your factory lighting, pretty much juss plug an play, looks confusing wen u open the kit, but lay it all out an it makes sense, pretty simple, if u have trouble they have alot of tutorials online

Just make sure you buy the Hi/Low Beam kit. It has all of the plug and play features. It you just get the low beams you might have to rig it or splice them in. The fog lights always have the right connectors it's just the headlights that sometimes don't have the proper connector with the low beam kit
