Default Hesitation/Vibration under light acceleration? Help

I have searched as much as I could but im trying to find exactly what it may be! Its a 2000 5.4 4x4
I could only get it to do it at 40+ mph and its just when I hit the accelerator lightly it hesitates and vibrates. Then when i mash it, it stops hesitating. I read that it may be the coil packs? Anyone have any ideas?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

I was about to say coils till i saw it went away after wot, did it truelly go away or can you just not notice it due to the more power from the wot...

Maybe fuel filter

whens the last time you did a good tune-up on it?
spark plugs,
fuel filter,
oil,
airfilter

does your steering wheel shake? if so something is messed up with head gasket and pistons. It happened to mine and from 0-10 it was fine then from 15-45 it would shake and not go much faster.

Sounds like a coil pack going bad. Until the CEL comes on, it's hard to find! Have you had a bunch of rain lately?
