Go get your money back. The price and time of trying to get it unlocked is going to cost you more in the end vs getting a brand new one. Good luck!

 

franchi should know the price but I guess it would be around 30-50 for a reset

 

You pull them numbers out of thin air? Last I heard it was $100 or 150 to unlock it.

 

straight from SCT site....To get the unit unlocked you will need to contact our Tech Support staff over the phone and they will instruct you on what you will need and the information we will need so you can send your device in to us for unlock. The cost to unlock the unit is $150.00

 

Only SCT can unlock a tuner ( they don't let their dealers do it either so no, I can't although I wish I could! ) and it costs $150 unlock fee and you have to send it in to SCT in Florida and takes about 2-3 weeks typically to get back.
