I have a 2003 ford f150 the tranny was rebuilt almost 2 years ago due to a mudding fail. Recently the the overdrive light flashes only when driving at highway speeds. The code pops for a 4th clutch solinoid ? I even had it looked at by a transmission shop and the guy said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. Oh and it still drives like a dream. Not sure what to do never messed with the tranny to much

Go to another transmission shop, don't mention anything about the other one.

A flashing o/d light as you've found is throwing a code. It will not happen unless there is a fault and some component is not behaving as expected. There is something wrong.

Contact the place that rebuilt it if it is still under warranty, hopefully it wasn't the shop that couldn't find anything wrong.

 

I've heard that the blinking overdrive light is triggered when the trans goes into safety mode. I recommend dissconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes and see if it still comes up.
