Default Help with these RELAY'S

hey... i am having a problem with my heater staying on in my pickup after the truck is turned off and the key taken out. i hear some clicking noises and sounds like something is grounding out under the dash. i found a box holding 2 relays under the dash above the gas pedal and i think this is where the noise is comming from. i was wondering if someone could tell me what they are?? and what the purpose of them is?

Figure this out? I have this same issue, the noise is driving me nuts. It keeps happening hours after the truck has been turned off.
