Default Help with squeaking issue

Just noticed it today, definitely coming from a rotating part of the vehicle. I initially thought it was the U-joints but it sounds like its coming from the front of the truck somewhere, it squeaks from 0-20mph and definitely squeaks more with increased speed and less with decreased speed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It wouldnt be a wheel bearing would it? I thought those hummed and didnt squeak. Maybe a ball joint?

Thanks

It's not the wear tabs on your brake pads, is it?

I'd be looking at the brakes as opposed to suspension. Specifically the slide pins, wear indicators and dust shield.

Thanks for the replies guys. Ended up being the U joints like I thought. I talked to a few different mechanics I know and everyone of them said U joints dont squeak when theyre bad .....they were dead wrong. Turns out one of the caps on the rear shaft was seized.

12.99 repair.

Mine did the same exact thing. But mine only squeaked in reverse. Back u joint. Easy enough fix as long as you get all the rust and dirt out of the yoke before you try and beat the u joint out. I bent my yoke so bad that I couldn't get the new u joint in with out it binding up. I tried to tap it back into shape. Long story short I ended up learning a lot and in the long run had to pay a shop to weld a new yolk on and balance my drive line. A $20 dollar half hour job, ended up costing me another $120. Lesson learned
