Default A Bit of Work, But Not Bad:

FYI: When the axle is pulled inspect the region where the rollers run on the axle for wear and pitting. It is not necessary to replace the axle if that region is badly worn; instead, pull the wheel bearing and replace it with a repair bearing/seal unit. Suitable repair bearing/seal units can be found at Autozone or Rock Auto. (SKF # R1559 I think is the one)
The repair bearing/seal replaces the wheel bearing and seal as a unit and the roller contact region on the axle shaft is moved outboard to a place where there is no wear.

Spend 20 bucks and get a Chilton or Haynes manual..If you are gonna do any work on your truck..they are a great reference..Torque specs and everything in there.
