Default HELP! Power window issue HELP!

Need Diagnosis help. 2001 Ford F150 4 door XLT. Got a problem with the power windows, there acting like the window lock is stuck on. turned the switch to both positions and its still not workin right. cut the power wire to that switch nothing, fuse is good, tried to just loop the power/ground to bypass the switch, nothing... have an idea? thanks ..

its happened to me before... dirt and gunk gets up under the switches and makes the contact not work properly...

get an old tooth brush and brush underneath all the switches and also unplug them from the bottom of the panel and brush all of that. that always worked for me. Hope it works! Good luck

Default Power switches

If your truck is several years old I would recommend cleaning the contacts on the under side of the switch. My control switch would only power the window down on both switches. After cleaning they both worked in either direction. Good luck
