Exclamation Help please, truck down.

Since I wrecked my truck back in March, I have been driving my moms truck. And now for the past couple of days the motor has been running really low. It usually idles at about 800rpm's but now IF it idles it runs around 500rpm's. Most of the time it just dies whenever it wants. Is there any ideas that y'all may have about what it might be.

It's a 2003 with the 4.6 under the hood.

Thank you in advance.

Idle speeds are controlled by the IAC. Suggest cleaning it. It bolts to the throttle body (opposite end of air intake filter) with two bolts, remove and clean.

Thank you so much, I tried cleaning the IAC after I got off work this morning and it didn't help. But after some research I decided I would just buy a new one. Now she runs like a champ again. Once again, thank you.
