I'm looking at buying my first f150 and I found a sweet deal I just wanna see if it has been in a wreck at all. So I was wondering if anyone had an extra carfax or autocheck report that they wouldn't mind running a VIN on for me. Thanks again and its greatly appreciated.

 

i don't have one but if you ask, most private sellers will run one off for you. That way if you don't buy they can just show it to the next potential buyer.

 

We don't really run Carfaxes here bud. If it's something you really are serious about, just pay the fee for it.

 

If the seller won't run one, its NO sweet deal.

 

Carfax stopped doing the "unlimited" Carfaxes, rather they charge for one or five now. So you'll be pretty hard pressed to find someone willing to run one for free now. If the seller isn't willing to get you one, then they're probably hiding something, so walk away.

 

Thanks for the input guys! I bit the bullet and ran one my self after I noticed carfax's maximum was now only 5 reports. It came out clean and test drove it today! So if all goes well I'll have pics up here this coming weekend. Looking forward to finally joining the Ford family!!!!
