so my truck has decided to start giving me Oil pressure problems now, my oil pressure is fine until I kick it above 3000rpm then it drops down to the bottom line, anyone had this problem? I just replaced my oil filter, and dont want to jump to conclusion of it being my pump or the worst fear a spun bearing or something? anyone else had this problem?

 

I had a similar problem with my '82 and found a few of the plastic seals out of the oil bottles my dad had used for years inside the valve covers. I removed them and cleaned out the return holes in the heads with the dipstick. It seemed to raise the pressure for a while, but that motor was already too far gone. Good luck.
