Looks like it's never been wrecked in the front ( headlights are a pain to get aligned like that at the end by the parking light. I wish I was that lucky to get a truck like that for the cost of a motor. sometimes a 5.5 foot bed isn't enough for me.

Showing 123K on the odometer. They managed to kill it in short order.

if it says 123k then it probably was changed a couple times. If you have a smart phone get the Carfax maintenance app. You can see the service records and add to them if not give me the vin and I'll look it up and post it on here or I'll pm you the records

Never got a fuel gauge but with no fuel pressure at the fuel rail I decided to take a look. Expected the tank to be in worse condition, but it has some rust around the fill. I can only assume pump is just weak. I know that does not happen much. other picture is of damage door seals. That was a sin. It was totally moldy when I got it. Why do you think the mileage is off, these people were to lazy to change the oil, i'm sure they were not concerned about falsifying mileage. Took about an hour to take tank out.

I'm pretty sure they were the same

The Tasca site states "Manufacturer: Ford".

I somehow doubt that "cheap ebay" or the "Autozone" were genuine Ford parts.

manifolds are exposed to high temps, and changing them out can be a lot of work..

I try to always balance quality with work expended to replace..
and also the reliabilty factor (will it leave me stranded??)..

the oil I meant haha not the mileage. Here's the weatherstrip.. How do you not replace that after doing that is my only question? Did they like sitting it water basically? http://www.tascaparts.com/ford/f-150...&position=left and I wonder why people like messing with the trailer harness on these trucks? They have both 4 flat and 7 wide. Like all of them that I've seen except a couple that have tow packages. Anyway here's the app. You can keep track of service records and see ones that were reported along with stuff like if it was taken to the dealer to have say a drop in liner installed. ( I'd remove that bed liner... Here's what it caused on a F250 )

Well I have been holding off on spending money or doing things on the truck I feel it still needs until it runs. I could not resist fixing a few small things and cleaning it up some. But the seals need done. You can see every chance I get I air it out. I also would like to do some front end parts but I'm holding off. Upper ball joint boots are both torn. Really I have no idea of condition I just assumed they need changing and the shocks still has the original ranchero's but quite rusty.

my dad has 260,000+ on his rancho's on his and they are rusty. Trust me. They are stiff as heck. So if you replace them wait and see the difference and check Amazon for the control arms I got mind for less then $50 a side for moog problem solver ones. And if you want to keep that truck for a long time clean the underside good and get some paint called POR15 it kills rust and levels itself. You can spray it or roll it and I've heard it's really good stuff. I'm going to buy some when I get the rockers done on mine. And I'd look at the bedsides on yours like the inner walls and the front and back by the bumper they tend to rust in that area and they hold sand and dirt. That's on my dads truck. About halfway up I rubbed on it and that was all sand from the gravel pit. ( yes his is rusting ) I stuck a old toothbrush in the prone spot on the front of the bed and scrubbed and a pile of sand almost an inch tall fell out of it. Anyway if you Get some of that POR 15 do the door bottoms tailgate bottom rockers and inside of the bed skin if you want it to last awhile longer before rust gets it.. I have gotten quotes for rockers and they want almost $6,000 for both sides and I thought I'd just tell you in case you want to stop yours before it happens.

to each his own
I really didn't think they were that hard to replace.
