Default Help Identifying a Fluid Leak Source

I have a leak on my 2003 4.2L V6 F150.

I believe the source might be identified in the attached photo; however, I'm not sure what the black silver dollar sized location is or if it could actually be the source of any leak.

To my eye, it appears that fluid is leaking from this location and while driving it has blown onto the underside of the truck.

Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That black plug in the bell is for accessing the the torque converter. Pull it out and see if the drain plug on the converter is leaking. You will have to manually turn the engine to find the drain plug. It's worth a look for all the time it takes. A buddy will make this easier..
