Help identify this hose assembly
After throwing some codes, I went looking for vacuum leaks. I found a big ol tear at what I thought was the Y fitting elbow of the pcv hose. While researching pictures of hose assemblies, I found that mine looks alot more bastardized that what I have seen. Is what I have really all involved with the pcv?
Does anyone else's look like this:

3 different hoses all meeting at what I assume is the pcv.

One of the hoses T's off again at this Y fitting. With one part going to the side of the intake, and the other going behind the firewall to the back of the intake.

Here at the side of the intake, 2 of those hoses that came off the pcv meet again here as well as a 3rd hose that snakes under the front of the plenum back towards the air filter box.
This looks way different than the simple pcv hoses assemblies I have seen pictures of here. I need to replace it as the area at the Y fitting developed a big ol tear.

this is theEngine Breather line.
unburned gases and steam, from the Crank Case, havo to go overboard, because Pressure buildup in the Crankcase would damage the engine.
and let it in the Air Dmage the enviroment, so this gases will routed in the intake, togive them a second chance to burn.
this is also theReason why the Intake Manifold gets dirty.

mine doesnt have that many running to it. I have one that runs off the pass side to the PCV port in the back of the manifold and one that runs off the drivers side to the intake tube off the TB. Mines a 4.6L
I know it from mercedes and VW engines.
The Breather lines Met on top of the camshaft cover, and there is an Oilseperator that let drop oil in to the Camshaftarea.
the rest of the Breathergases where routet before the Throttle.
At my Audi, i have Routed throu a Filter to the Ambient.
at red traffic lights u can smell it.
and its forbidden in Europe.
but the Throttle and intake manifold keeps clean.

However, considering it's attached to the top of the valve cover i would assume it is only for excess. Their is also an oil pump at the bottom of the oil bank that sends the oil from the bottom of the engine and circulate's it. Valves arent 100% effective, so instead of blowing your valve cover/gasket, its send via this pipe. Or thats my take on it.
