Default Help with fuel rail?

I had my fuel rail all unbolted and popped it off the injectors so the injectors were still in the intake, how do you pop them back on? Can't seem to get it? Any tips?

They go back on as easy as they came off..just a little pressure. Hope you didn't get too much gas all over the COP's or plug wires. That's probably the biggest mistake you can make. If so, you should blow dry immediately.

Once you think they are on there right, apply a little more pressure while twisting the injector for seat.

I had the same problem! Make sure the o-ring is on the injector and not stuck in the fuel rail. If it's in the rail it won't go back on at all...

That's strange lol. Are the rails rusty or something ? Perhaps the o-rings swelled after removal ? They shouldn't do that, if so they are bad and you'll need an o-ring kit. Most 3rd party suppliers can get them for yuh or the interweb.

This ^^^^

Get a small flat head screwdriver and go fishing, pull the o-ring back out of the rail, place it back on top of the injector, then pop you rail back down/on.

I've never had the O-rings stick in the rail yet. But yea, if that's the case, they need to be removed and placed on the injectors.

I'm not sure oiling those is a good idea. It might not hurt or they may leak a little. They SHOULD go in dry since they are silicon. I'd try that first anyway.
