Default HELP front wheel noise????

I started to hear a slight noise this week. Sounded like a light scrape, now its a grind and is louder when I turn.. Truck had been driving smooth, just some vibration at highway speeds, but I figured it was my tires. Took the wheel off tonight and I'm thinking bearings??? I know its not the pads, sound is coming from behind the rotor. I have a 2002 SUPERCREW FX4 with 170,XXX. Could it be something with the boots that go to the 4 wheel drive drive shaft?? Sorry don't know all the nomenclature. If it is the bearings and I replace both sides in the front, what is a good estimate of the cost? I will be doing the labor. Thanks for any help, Chris

Default ok

OK, after further investigation of the forum it sounds like bearings....So I guess I will be buying hubs this week at Pep-boys. Looks like a good days work, but hope I can get the bolts all lose. Any other tips for the install? Thanks, Chris
