I have a loud engine knock at idle and when giving it throttle after replacing my intake gasket? No noises before changing gasket. Did not overheat. was leaking in the right front corner decided to replace. Anyone?

Default intake gasket

I installed the new intake manifold gasket and the first time I started the truck it was leaking badly out of back of the right side. It was also ticking really loud. Only let the truck run 10-15 seconds maybe and then I shut it off. I removed intake again and there was a bad spot in the gasket. Went and got a new gasket (again) and installed. Now i have no leaks but still have the loud knocking? I have not tried to put in gear and drive yet because the knocking is too loud. What could have caused this? I had no noises or any knocking before replacing the gasket.

Were you missing any nuts or bolts when you put everything back together. I would make sure you didnt drop anything down the intake ports. And is it a deep knock or does it sound like it may a little higher in the heads maybe?
