Help !!!
How's everyone doing?
I bought a 1997 ford f150 with the 5.4 liter
It runs good, but when I turn my lights on the dash lights head lights all fade in and Out.
Any suggestions.
I replaced the battery, checked the alternator

Check the fuse for a bad seat. Also check the inline alt fuse, that ones real good for a bad seat and cause that exact same problem. Your alt charge will be in and out. The inline fuse holder goes bad, just on the alt, nothing else.
You have a 97 that's right, I'd change the alt 175 amp MEGA fuse as well on a 97/98. That is also good for that. Those fracture or crack at the solder ball. Don't bend the new one, you'll see what I mean. Push it easily into place.
BTW, the inline fuse I was referring to is connected along the side of the MEGA fuse. Again, you'll see what I mean, once you go fishing.
