I have a '02 f150 had coil and plugs put in. Truck runs great for 260,000.
New egr,and vacuum lines. (Ect...). Oddly today went to start and engine turned
but no start. seemed like no fuel was getting into the engine.after disconnection battery,( hope to reset ), waited a couple hours, it stared with a few ignition starts..possible pcm?

Please help ,This was the first time. Thanks to any comments.Please!

 

I did accidentally turn ignition to run before the engine started. Is this a cause?

 

You mean you let the key return to the run position before it started? That wont cause any problems.

What makes you think "it seemed like no fuel was getting to the engine"?
Can you hear the fuel pump kicking on when you first turn the key to the run position?

 

much more likely the fuel pump, pcm failure is pretty rare
could be many things

 

When it wont start try hitting the middle of the gas tank with a hammer and try again. This will get you through for a little when your fuel pumps on its way out.
