I have a 2001 F150 Lariat and the cable (with a plastic screw that tightens or losens the cable)going to the park under the steering wheel looks to be broken. This causes the truck not to start at times because it does not go all the way into park. Does anyone know what this is called and is it hard to replace?

 

Shifter cable and I believe you have to take the dash apart. Hopefully some one else will chime in.
