help
i just bought a 1997 ford f150 4.2l xl super cab when i bought it the cabin lights wouldn't come on when the door was open i did some investigating and found that the 15 amp fuse was not there so i put a brand new one the light now stays on but when you turn the headlight switch real fast to the on position the cabin light goes off for 10 seconds and when you shut it off the light stays on and the relay box/fuse under the hood starts making noise, could the relay be going bad? has anyone had this problem before
could it be a magnetic switch the only wire going to the door goes to the handle i think that's the switch and i found why the light stayed on was the scroll switch was on the one for the dash lights dim/bright. the light now only comes on when the doors are open a shuts off 10-15 seconds after the door shuts so i think that problem is fixed
