Default Hello & SSM???

Hello everyone i am new to this forum and have a few things to ask but wanted to start with this; has anyone heard of Super six Motorsports? and if so anyone used their product from their power pak (heads, cam ported upper and lower intake manifold), to crate motors? I have a 97 XLT, 2wd, 4.2L, manual. Their 'power pak' is about $3000 and a crate motor is $8000, dont if i'd spend $8k for but the 'power pak' is definetly an option.

I have mustang mag with the package on a 2 vavle 4.6 and they gained 67 Hp and 72 lbs torque with the package. That would be a nice jump.

What are you looking to get out of your engine? The 4.2 isn't exactly a powerhouse and the manual trans doesn't really bode well for drag racing. At some point you may be better off leaving it as is. What are you looking to do to the truck, i.e. work, play, drag racing, jumping off cliffs?

i'm just looking for some extra horses, nothing crazy cause it is my daily driver. Use for work (not much towing), and play (offroad), I used to own a 90 5.0 and going from the V-8 to V-6 has been noticiable, both in the tank and in power. Stock the 4.2 pushed out bout 200hp, back in the day, but if could get close 300hp and 350 ft.lb. torque...i'd be happy...for a while
