I finally got employed and am starting to go ahead and buy some accessories i want for my next truck coming hopefully this winter or next spring. I already know i want to get one of those light bar/roll cage's that are in the bed. I also want some pretty bright lights to put on top. I know i like Hella lights, one because i've had great luck with them in the past and two, because everyone and their sister has KC's. I've seen where they now have Xenon off-road lights and am wondering if anyone has them on their trucks or know anything good or bad about them. Or any other suggestions on good, bright lights...?

 

i put the whole HID kit in my headlights and their bright as crap! but they sell every bulbsize for the kit if you just wanted to put them in youre light bar. good place where i got mine was tophidkits.com or another good place would be ddmtuning.com

its cool i like the full hid kits cause they also have a lifetime warranty and if you have any trouble with the bulbs or the ballast then its free to get fixed without the hassle of taking the entire light fixture off and then having to remount it

 

Ok, one other question, i'm on there looking and they have the different kits. 3,000K, 4,300K....and so on. What're the differences in these? Just color, or actual brightness? Because i don't care about the color, i just want something that'll light it up so i can see

 

it does matter, just if you look at the color the whiter the light is like the 6000k the brighter the darker the blue the less range you get out of the light

 

best brightness from my personal experience is .... 35watt kits = 6000k 55watt kits = 8000k .. I think technically like 4300 kelvin is "optimal" brightness. Dont quote me though.
