Default 97 heater core

Guys, Rob and I did it. I bought a Haynes manual and found the instructions from the web. Between them both and Rob's mech skill, we got'er done.

97 is the year they changed the style and you have to remove, or at least move, the dash to get to the box. We did not do the AC removal.

Default 97 F150 heater core

Wish mine had been that easy. Thought about taking a saws-all and cutting out the dash form that was in the way and then splice it back together. Stupid idea, but trying to find all those screws was frustrating. LOL

What kind of heater core did you put back in it? I have a 98 too and it needs one and I'd like to put one in it that will last as long as possible.
