Heater core hose

I checked for codes. I got a P0401, EGR Flow Malfuntion, and P1299 cylinder Head temp sensor. When this happened I was in a rush to park the truck in a safe area. I had it towed home from there. I flushed the anti Freeze and put in a new motorcraft MIRT1254Thermostat. Is it possible these codes popped up because it went into safe mode. I checked the coolant temp. now it was 54 degrees ambiant temp. I ran it for like 20 min and it went up to about 88 degrees just below half on the gauge. So im hoping changing the thermostat and antifreeze fixed it
Are you sure about that T-stat number ? Thought it was 1234... It's been a while, prob not remembering right. Had a bad Motorcraft stat last time I did it. Found out it was a knock-off from Amazon. But man, the box looked like OEM...very close to it.
Can't really use the 50/50 for a flush. So much remains in the block. You also need to stick the hose in the degas and let it overflow for 15 while the vehicle is running. Quickest and only way to completely flush. You can do this with distilled as well, but it has to be running or it won't work. Do the math, add as much concentrate as you need. Double check with meter when done,,,before winter.
It'll stay pretty for a good 5 years if you use the Mototorcraft....well , the green will anyway.

I cleared the codes. The check engine light came back on, check it with a scanner and the P0401 came back. But the P1299 was gone. Now I got my airbag flashing 2=7 than staying on. It said the bulb is out, does anybody know what bulb this is. TY
