So ive been throwing back and forth the idea of getting a new truck...and came up with this.

New truck-$20,000+
Loss in the beast-2 trannys at 2k a piece, about 5k in lift wheels and tires, bumpers another 2k,subs that got stolen 3500,blood sweat and tears working night on end lifting her and setting her back down plus parts around 500,new 265-70-16 toyo open country a/t's $746.00,im sure there is more..
Now this adds up to $15,746.00 that i have invested in it over time and got to add 10k for the truck itself..so $25,746.00 sold the lift wheels and tries for 1500..now so0mething tells me i may get around 6 trade and 7 sell out right not worth it..

So im going to build me a new truck!!

1.Motor-Complete overhaul
a.procharger add on
b.cam headers and more straight motor building
2.New suspension-this is the good part!
a.long travel kit with bed cage and fiber body
b.skyjacker 6 inch?? rather option a
3.New Transmission!!
a.buy and replace the current with an aftermarket race trans. off the bat..
b.let mine ware out then worry about it
4.New wheels and tires!
a.35s is the size i want and all terrains
5.New gears all around!
a.4.10s
b.4.56s
c.4.88s

Now please let me knwo what you guys have to offer! it will be cheaper and more effective in the long run to do this instead of buy a new truck right? also does anyone have a long travel for the 2002 supercrew 4x4 ?? thanks guys Beast!

sounds like a good plan to me. I put 4.10s in mine because its recommended with a supercharger and it works great. There is also a guy selling a procharger w/add on's on ebay for 4,000, I think it's a good deal. Good Luck!

I'm staying with 35s and I'll have a stall in the tranny so I think 4.10s would be better has anyone experienced the dbr kit?

I keep hearing the battle between 4.10 and 4.56 gears with 35s. What is the real answer?

This looks like one hell of a project. Should be fun. I have always been a fan of your truck.

Thats why I have no problem sticking money into my flare side. With all the parts and money I have into my truck when I am done, it will be exactly how I want it.
