The new headliner fabric is sagging next day. I used 3M Super 77 from Walmart. Is headliner glue different?

I did headliner a few times before. I am having trouble for the first time.

 

Super 77 should definitely hold. Did you let it get tacky?

 

No I did not. First attempt was a little too late (past peak tackiness). Also, I didn't spray enough. Second time, I didn't want to miss the peak tackiness and did it a little too early I guess.

After a hot day, it started sagging again. I applied the wood glue (bondo) this time. Now it should hold.
