What is the difference of Headlights. i have early 1997 Model 03/97. but the aftermarket STV Headlights ( Ebay)Always works from 08/97. Why?
The Seller says" Hi, sorry then these set cannot works, and they haven't make these headlights for early 97 made F-150. The mounting bracket are totally different for those made before Aug 1997 F150."

Can anyone confirm this? Or knows someone clear glass headlights fit for me? I want new one Clear Glass or something, because my are milki

Thanks alot

All 97-03 lights are the same. There's tons of 97 trucks around with lightning lights.

Not quite. all 97s made before 6/96 have a black housing that the headlights fit in, where thoses 7/96 are like ours. My old 97 had the brackets. The lighting heads will work. You just have to unscrew the lights from the bracket and swap all the hardware onto the new lighting lights for them to work with the bracket.

6/96 heads

If I understand him correctly, you will just have to take the bracket from the lights you have in now and put them on the new ones

Yep, theres some triangular nuts holding your headlight to the bracket if I remember right. unscrew them, pull the old lights out, put the new one in and mount the nuts. You might have to make the holes bigger on the black bracket
