I was looking at doing the same thing as far as the smoked headlamps to match my black truck. I think im going to with these because the housing is black but the lense is still clear. HID will work with these no problems. Not to mention it will give my 98 a more modern look. I like black housing but clear lense because it still will have the smoked look but not sacrifice light output. They were basically oem for the harley editions but would look nice. Check them out!!

Other wise here is a link to what other members are talking about that would also look good. But most importantly its whatever YOU like.

Notice the price difference though too, but dont let that make up your mind on which set to get.

Hope this helps.

That would be awesome. Not just pictures but before and after to get the full effect.

Ya good luck x2 I had halos and hid in my wife blazer was driving to Louisiana to see my daughter and 1 melted thru the lense plastic ran down on the front bumper spoiler took like 8 hrs to get melted plastic off then had to repaint bumper. Done learned my lesson don't do it if u run your lights for a long time

had my projectors for 2 months and one headlight already went out and the light output is worse than with my stock headlights... and now that I look at them they don't look very good on my truck, I will be going back to my stock headlights

Not trying to hate on anybody that has projector headlights, but to me they look "Mexican."

Lee, the stock headlights are really nice, they can just be a pain in the *** sometimes to get all the calcium buildup off. Do you like the Lightning headlights? I think they would look nice on your truck
