Can someone tell me what the difference between the headlights that they say are meant for the F150 build before 7/96 and the headlight built after 7/96, because Im looking to get new headlights and my truck was built in 6/96, and i can't really find any headlights that look good. Can I put the others on or will they not fit?

The notation probably has to do with a difference in mounting: Newer lamps won't fit older versions.
